Things To Do
There is so much to do, it is hard to fit it all in!
At the gateway to the world-renowned Margaret River wine region, there are dozens of famous wineries within close proximity to the Resort. Also popular are an increasing number of boutique breweries (Bootleg Brewery, Duckstein to name a couple). Galleries and craft shops such as Boranup Gallery are also worth a visit, or simply relax at the beach only 200m walk from the Resort. If you are into surfing, head down to Margaret River as it offers some of the best surfing in the world. For kids, there are activities aplenty from farms (Sunflower) to ice-cream (Simmo’s) to an Archery Park (Vasse), Reptile Park (Carbanup) and Bird Park (Metricup).
Natural wonders litter the region from spectacular caves, Karri Forest (Boranup), rock formations (Canal Rocks), rugged coastline (Yallingup) and sheltered beaches (Meelup).
For the foodie, there is a growing number of gourmet food producers from artisan breads (Yallingup woodfired bread) to coffee (Yahava Koffeeworks), chocolate (Margaret River Chocolate Factory) and cheese (Margaret River Cheese Co). Or for an all-in-one pitstop, try Margaret River Providore on Harmans Mill Rd or any of the gourmet foodstores in Dunsborough (Meal Up) or Busselton (Cape Kitchen – Fig Tree Lane).
